Firstly, I would say no to the suggestion of T20 cricket at the olympics because as people have already mentioned it does have its own world cup and I don't think that including it as an olympic sport would increase either its player base or the competitiveness of emerging teams.

It should also be noted that it is not rugby union or league that is being added in 2016, it is actually rugby sevens. Sevens is a great sport that is opening rugby up to many nations, eg Kenya, Zimbabwe, Portugal and the Asian teams. These are teams that would have no chance in union or league but can compete in sevens, the growth of which would improve the quality of rugby immensely as it matures in the professional era.

I wasn't responding to your whole argument. I SPECIFICALLY BOLDED football and tennis, which are being played in this olympics, when I asked the question as to whether or not you were being serious. Otherwise I would not have SPECIFICALLY BOLDED those two sports
