I can't really understand this. You want to know if it is a disadvantage to not have a thyroid?

A thyroid problem is the least of your worries after attempting to decipher that.

Sorry for the confusion. Being fit to practice medicine is a pre-condition for getting admission to a medical course. Will my thyroid condition make me ineligible for admission to the medical course.

Hold on, let me get my English to Gibberish dictionary. Umm...yes...seems that you are saying that

'I really want to do Medicine at University, and I believe I have met all the criteria. Suddenly, however,my doctor told me that I have a thyroid problem (although I have not noticed anything myself). Will this health problem be considered a disadvantage by the Admissions panel? Will they reject me on the basis of this? I am planning to talk to my Headmaster about this, but I would like any opinions your good selves, since I know very little about these matters in regard to the admissions procedure. Cheerio'.

No, there is no reason why the admissions tutors should even know about it. Though I must admit your "doctor told me I am having thyroid" comment confused me - we all have thyroids...

Your thyroid problem, whatever it may be, will not be a hindrance when it comes to medicine applications. Your English skills (if you are applying to the UK) might.

Yes, most universities actually consider having any organ a major disadvantage! It's a universal truth that cybermen take up all the elite places at prestigious medical schools.

    Cybermen still have their organs.
