I'm doing a Maths degree, doing into my second year in September, but I'm really worried about getting a job. I haven't done any maths related work experience which is worrying me because I want to try and get a placement year but feel like i have nothing to base it on. Will this greatly affect my chances of getting a placement? Or do I just need to seem enthusiastic about the role. I don't do any extra-curricular activities either, although I'm gonna try to join some stuff next year, but right know I feel like I'd have nothing to write down on my application help?
