I never watched Lost, 24, Sopranos, Dexter....NOTHING. I hated almost all TV sitcoms. I just found them to be monotonous and boring. Then I found Breaking Bad!

Someone recommended it to me and because it was the long summer holidays, I watched the first episode...and became hooked. Within about 2 days of watching the first episode, I had finished the first two series! The show is now in series 5, and I watch the new episodes almost as they come out in America. I have even watched the first two series for a second time.

The show is brilliant because rather than following the alpha-male serial killer type it follows the struggles and motivations of a guy whose trying to become the alpha-male serial killer type - its just done absolutely brilliantly.

Meta Critic a website that gathers reviews from all over the net has given the following scores:

season 3: 89%
season 4: 96%
season 5: 98%

I challenge you to watch the first two episodes and not become hooked to it.

I would recommend starting at season 1 because the rest of it won't really make sense unless you do.

Just do searches for 'Breaking Bad SXXEYY' (where XX and YY are the series and episode numbers) on YouTube for many of the episodes.
