Can someone explain something to me(About results day)
So basically I have a conditional firm and an unconditional insurance offer.

I'm desperate to make my firm and I know that universities will take people who slightly missed their offer as long as they have space.

Surely if I miss my firm then UCAS will automatically update track and send me to my insurance choice.

If I'm working the phones and trying to get my firm to accept me, how is this still possible after UCAS has confirmed me to my insurance?

If you get what I mean

    1. No, it's not an automatic process. The universities are sent your results and they then manually process them. If they decide to accept you anyway, they'll process you as accepted.

    2. Firm choices still get precedent, so they can over-ride it from their end.

Incidentally, phoning them is unlikely to work seeing as they will have already had time to consider you ... but, seeing as your insurance is guaranteed, there is nothing to lose in trying.
