    This samsung laptop good?
Hey, just wondering anyone know much about this laptop? and the quality of samsung laptops in general? Seems like a pretty good deal for the price: http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Samsu...UK/version.asp.

2). Is £70 worth it for upgrading from an i3 to an i5 considering the machine will only really be used for word processing, emails and web browsing?

the first link is still £60 more for only gaining an i5 over an i3? all the other specs are the same, although you lose 2GB ram (not bothered really about that).

The second one seems okay, but it's for my parents not me so they're a bit fussy and would rather the look of the samsung to the 2nd link. Don't ask me why... :L

    Lenovo are really really reliable.

Keep having a look around, you should also consider waiting around till summer sale

I've heard the same about samsung and sony. But to keep away from acer and hp.

We really need one in the next week as our desktop is on it's final legs. I've never really seen anything good in the sales? Does anything get significantly cheaper?

Edit: http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/Lenov...UK/version.asp this seems better than your first link?

Will run it through quidco too and get some money off that way too, not much but enough to cover postage.

They 100% don't want another desktop, so that's out of the question :L
