It can be hereditary or you have a problem with your thyroid.
Dark circles are No different from bruises, it's just blood that has stopped moving/flowing and builds up.

You can hve them surgically remOved or lasered off if theyre that bad.

I sleep lots and my diet is healthy n all that jazz, but I still get dark circles reaaaally easily. I guess there's nothing we can do. I've read somewhere it's genetic, so maybe we are just this way and we can't change it

I heard through the grapevine that placing hot/warmish teabags on closed eyelids for about 10 minutes daily reduces the appearance of dark circles.

good luck... or if that don't work, go down to MAC/your local drugstore and purchase some concealer.

You should get eye cream. Preferably something with Vitamin C , just tap it gently around your eyes when you wake up.

Sometimes they are genetic and there is very little you can do about it, I'm 18 and have really dark circles and it seems to run in my family. The only thing that has slightly improved mine is moisturising (and a really good concealer helps me too).

same problem here (male/17), probably hereditary as my brother and father get them too.
Might have to look into this cream, never heard of it before!

    Yeah mine is hereditary also.

You should try it, like I said it doesn't improve the eye wrinkles but it does help the darkness slightly

But what can I do for my wrinkles, natural or some eye cream :/

Good a link to a product just so I know what you're using?
Is it this kind of thing? (some examples at the bottom of the article)

I use a roll on eye ball thing... It's made by Simple but I think you can get Garnier ones too. I don't get the dark bags but I get really puffy bags under my eyes
I think it says on it you can use it for dark bags

Could be genetic, also think about allergies too. Do you have allergies?

I have dark circles too since I was like 13. Combination of genetics (I have Mediterranean olive skin) and allergies. Just have to live with it. My skin looks great when I have a tan though and they basically just blend in.

Re: 16 and with eye bags :/
After going through pictures of when I was younger, I noticed in them I started to get very faint discolouration underneath my eyes starting from the age of around 6-7.

I've had numerous tests done and nothing seems to indicate that these are health related, they are just hereditary. They are more pronounced when I'm ill or tired, but even people who don't have 'bags' under their eyes when they are fine get them.

If you're concerned about them, by all means go to your GP and they can run some tests to see if there is anything wrong with you that might be causing them. Being anaemic to tends to cause them and your GP can find that out by doing some blood tests... but other than that, they are most likely hereditary... Also they probably don't look as bad to other people than they do to you...

I've had the same problem since i was a kid, im pretty sure its genetic when i look at my dad and grandparents siblings etc... i find using cold cucumber helps reduce it and using ice on my eyes as it constricts the blood vessels.
'benefit' the company did a really good cream which helped, im not sure if they still do it in the UK

I have dark circles, one guy used to say I looked like a panda.

My mum and nan have it, i think they said it might be to do with thin skin around the eyes or something :dontknow:

I have that and to be honest it could just be genetic. My cousin and sister are exactly the same. Finding a good concealer helps a lot (the No7 one is great!) but there isn't really anything you can do about the shape. It sucks
