Searching for the best Indian cuisine recipe book
Well the title says it all really. I'm Bengali so my mum can teach me how to make a nice curry but I want to better her and make one that impresses everyone including her I've looked on amazon and there are a lot of books that have gotten good reviews but I want to know what YOU guys think is the best!

I personally prefer cooking blogs over recipe books as they are much more accurate and the dishes also come out good.
One that I frequent a lot is http://www.yummytummyaarthi.com/. If you need any more recommendations then let me know

Me and my mum both swear by Madhur Jaffrey (no idea how authentic or whatever they might be as we're not Indian, but they taste damn nice and are easy to follow :yep:).

Madhur Jaffrey is great, I recommend the following:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Madhur-Jaffr...3851118&sr=8-3

It's really worth the price, it's only like 12-13 pre owned on there too, the amount of stuff in there is ridiculous and the majority of what I made from there has been really really nice, really recommend it

Thanks, she's got quite a few books out I've noticed but this one seems most useful (I think its just because she's used the phrase ultimate curry bible haha)
Can you tell me if she has lots of pictures to show the finished recipes?

There is another book thats caught my eye, its her latest book:
