Re: Best newspaperTo be honest, I'd suggest maybe a subscription to The Economist. It's weekly, but still provides excellent analysis of major news articles, is only £2 a week for internet and print, and is much more managable to read rather than a huge newspaper every day!(Original post by cyfer)
Unfortunately I don't have the budget or time to have a subscription to the FT ... £16 per week for all features compared to £4 week for the Times and nothing for the Guardian online....
Make that two. Although perhaps in hindsight we should have rethought, considering that TSR is mostly compromised of left thinking individuals, although I understand this is not many's justification for ignoring the Times....
Plus pay £1 and get 12 issues! (8.3p per issue)! -
Re: Best newspaperI did the £1 for 12 issues and I didn't find the style of the articles to my liking.(Original post by shmuxel)

Re: Best newspaper
The Guardian is the best out of the bunch in my opinion. I actually don't mind the others in the poll with the exception of The Sun and the Daily Mail
The papers I despise includes the Daily Mail but it's not as much as I hate the Daily Star & Daily Express - absolute garbage, they should have been shut down before the News of the World. Their distorted and stupid headlines never fail to piss me off.
These are some their worst headlines, might as well be the flippin EDL Daily

Re: Best newspaper
The Telegraph, for being a reliable source of news with a political stance I agree with.
However, when I buy a paper copy of a newspaper, I choose The Times, purely for practicality. If there wasn't a wealth of internet news elsewhere, I would probably pay for an online subscription of The Times.
