    Naked short selling
Can somebody please explain why 'naked short selling' is so frowned upon? Surely you can just buy the stocks from the exchange. Why is there a need for a borrowed 'backup'?

Bump, help would be appreciated. I can't seem to find any videos explaining this, they just end saying that the person who attempted short-selling was left with debt that he needed to pay off.

It's just rude really. Why should other brokers pander to those who don't want to wear clothes?

Personally I think it should be banned for men.
