Re: What are your hobbies?Basically, it's a picture that you have to etch out using that little tool in the picture. You can buy different pictures (usually animals) which are drawn onto a black covering, and you scrape it off along the lines to reveal the foil underneath. You end up with a shiny picture in the end(Original post by Juichiro)
What is that?
This isn't mine but I have used the same wolf image before. The area on the left is scraped, and the darker grey on the right is the unscraped guide
It's quite therapeutic

Re: What are your hobbies?I like this! Where can I get the materials? Is it cheap? Is it relatively easy to do? I am quite average at drawing but I like arty things. Do you have deviantart? Have you uploaded any thing you have done I would love to see it to get an idea of a finished picture.(Original post by Kurol)

Re: What are your hobbies?I used to do them when I was little! I'd always scrape too hard and the foil would rip. Plus i didn't really like the feel of it - it was one of those feelings you just can't stand.(Original post by Kurol)

Re: What are your hobbies?Love you!(Original post by chemistrie)
Nah, they're not particularly difficult from what I remember! And they're not very expensive either. On amazon you can get them for like £2 each.
Thanks for all the info, really appreciated!

Re: What are your hobbies?
Argentine tango! Before I started I had no interest in dance of any kind. Then one day a female friend dragged me along to a class, she wouldn't take no for an answer. I was hooked after that. Guys think its 'gay', but whats gay about doing the dance of sex with women? XD
Go out and try something you perhaps would never normally try, you might love it
It was fun though!
