The most elegant & classiest locations to study? (England only)
Excluding the many plush areas of London in which to study, which towns or cities would you declare the most exquisite, salubrious and sublimely beautiful places to study? the more obscurer the location the better, but all suggestions greatly welcome.

    Thanks.

If you're talking about universities, then the answer is pretty obvious.

Oh Buxton is gorgeous - went there to the opera house for the first time this summer and couldn't get over how lovely it is.

    Check out Royal Holloway:

Virginia Water, a beautiful and very exclusive area, is just up the road too.
