Made the worst decision for AS choices and think I need to do something drastic
So I picked all the sciences + maths for my AS's
But now I really don't want a job in the science department
I've decided to go with the subject I enjoy the most - maths, and do a maths degree
Now I want to go to the MORSE degree in warwick or Maths and economics but they ask for further maths
So I'm considering dropping chemistry + biology and picking up further maths AS and A2 in the same year
But I'm kind of scared because I think I can't do the A2 side without knowing the AS side (I'd hate to do Maths C3 and C4 without knowing C1 and C2)

Is this risk worth it? Because I can't think of any other way, they wouldn't accept just an AS by the way

There must be other places who don't require maths (or maybe f. maths just to AS), perhaps less maths focused like Economics with Maths, or Econometrics? When you do Further Maths the A2 part relies on A2 Maths, so bear that in mind.

So A2 maths and further maths compliments each other, like having similar material, would you say its more similar to AS further maths or A2 maths?
And yeah i know i can find other uni's that don't need Further maths A Level, but I'm hell-bent on Warwick lool

Not all economics degrees require further maths (nottingham for example). It might be worth taking another year out to do further maths and work exp.

A2 Further Maths is harder than, and relies on, A2 Maths. FP2 and FP3 are harder than C3 and C4 and assume full knowledge of them.

    M2, S2, D2 etc. require knowledge of M1, S1, D1 respectively, M2 requires C3 and M3 requires C3 and C4 (S2, S3 etc. might require core, I don't know).

You shouldn't be hell-bent on Warwick - come up with a few you'd be happy with, e.g. Durham's combined honours course (which will let you take whatever you want) or some of UCL's fantastic courses.
