I don't like it on any of the girls you posted - I think it depends on the person but suits pale skinned women the most.

You have strange definitions of "dark" and "light", some of those women in different categories have the same skin tone. Also, some of those lipstick shades are more coral or burgundy than red. When people mention red lipstick, I tend to think of bright pillarbox red.

I think it looks okay as long as it's not really bright red and/or shiny, like in the photos of Kim Kardishan or Tyra Banks in the first post, that just looks ridiculous. Toned down slightly and matte or with more of a natural sheen is better imo. You can end up looking like a clown if you don't get the shade right, especially if your lips are big and full.

that's because of the lighting. The latinas are lighter than the indians i posted, but in those pics they look similar.

When the women are as attractive as these ones HOTTTT obviously. You could have probably found blue lipstick examples and they'd still look good. I am a red lipstick fan in general though

Representing red lips and deathly pale skin! I think the right shade can look great on any skin tone. I use ysl rouge pur couture most days. Red lipstick is great, makes you feel 100% more confident and sexy even when the rest of your appearance is less polished.
