Re: Red Lips=HOT or NOT? POLL (all skin colours)Nah I as an actual guy would know better what girl looks hot and what ones dont. There was nothing wrong with the black girl, you just lumped her into the bad category because if not because she had real black features then because she wasn't photoshopped to death(Original post by darkxangel)
what the ehll are you talking about, this is purely about skin colour and lip stick shade combination, i thought that the red was too orange and bright in the not so nice pics and that it was just right in the nice section.
I don't care about her nose at all-or about how photo-shopped it is!

Re: Red Lips=HOT or NOT? POLL (all skin colours)Ugh, Doe Deere. Really not a fan of this chick.
LOVE Dita Von Teese though, red lipstick was made for her!
Haha, really? Like "actual guys" are experts on what looks good and what doesn't. Actual guys, as opposed to imaginary guys, right?(Original post by Podcaster)

Re: Red Lips=HOT or NOT? POLL (all skin colours)That's stupid, you don't have to make it out to be a racist thing.(Original post by DontJudge)
I'm sorry but, why should you choose what you wear depending on skin colour.
Everything goes with your skin colour, it's not a barrier to anything.
People look different, and different things suit different people.
Skin colour is one thing that makes people look different. -
Re: Red Lips=HOT or NOT? POLL (all skin colours)erm the last time i editet this it was 4 hours ago-(my OP that is where that pic is included-but i guess you couldn't be bothered to look a the spoiler), way before you quoted me. ha, troll is caught!(Original post by Podcaster)
Don't try a last minute guilty edit. Once a racist always a racist.

Re: Red Lips=HOT or NOT? POLL (all skin colours)I tried to make it as fair and unbiased as possible. did you check out the spoilers.(Original post by Blorcyn)
I think it helps that every woman in every category is an attractive woman, but over all red lips are a yes when dressed up. It's kinda the point of red lips, isn't it?
Yh, like when you are in a really expensive restaurant. -

I did not see it like that at all.
All i'm saying is. There are a lot of girls out there, who assume that dark complexion=ugly. I'm trying to say that is not true, and giving higher esteem to those who think that. -
Re: Red Lips=HOT or NOT? POLL (all skin colours)i never said that girls with dark complexion can't wear red lipstick, but that they couldn't wear the same lipstick shade as light complexioned girls wear (just clarifying) ohh and the sad truth is there is so much more variation in terms of different shades/colours for light complexioned/white girls even though non-white girls vary way more in terms of skin colour, because there are more white girls around. Which means that it'd be incredibly hard to find the right shade (talking from experience here :/).(Original post by DontJudge)

Re: Red Lips=HOT or NOT? POLL (all skin colours)i think it looks nicer on fuller lips.(Original post by MushyMorshy)
It only looks good if the person's lips look nice. -
Re: Red Lips=HOT or NOT? POLL (all skin colours)Yeah I checked out all the spoiler photos too.(Original post by darkxangel)

There's an amount of research that shows how red is linked to fertility in women and power in men. That's why, tastefully done, you're never going to go wrong with some red lippy or a bit of blusher.
Oh, and red dresses. I'm sure half the reason Scarlett Johansson is so idolised is most pictures of her are her in 'that' red dress.
Edit: I just googled it and I think half is over selling it, but yeah - the points stands. The red dress helps.Last edited by Blorcyn; 03-08-2012 at 20:53. Reason: lies -

Lol, I heard that red lips and blush make girls look hotter, because during sex their lips get redder, their face is more flushed...

Selling repackaged cosmetics for a huge price markup, selling shoddy goods in the past (e.g. A dress hemmed with duct tape), creates sockpuppet accounts on LJ and other places to make herself look good, doesn't allow negative reviews of her products, recently used racial stereotypes to promote a product which caused a load of controversy. I could go on. I actually own a couple of her lipglosses, not impressed really considering that she prices herself higher than MAC.(Original post by darkxangel)
why don't you like her? -

Re: Red Lips=HOT or NOT? POLL (all skin colours)Just like to point out that inaccuracy.(Original post by darkxangel)
because there are more white girls around.
I totally see what you were saying, but there aren't more - in fact I'd say there's probably far fewer white girls than other skin colours, but I assume what you meant was more 'around in the market', which is possibly true (I wouldn't say for sure, but I wouldn't call you out on it either).

I did not see it like that at all.
