Improving your degree marks
Call me someone who over thinks things but I'm a tad worried about my degree. I'm on a 4 year course at UCL and I've just passed first year.Thing is I just passed. Combination of circumstance and generally not doing anywhere near enough work last year. Thing is, I realise this and I regret it. I want a 1st, and I'm going to have to work hard for it, I'm worried though that I've set myself up to do bad.Realistically this year is worth like 8% or something - the years are weighted 1: 3: 3: 5 so everything beyond 1st year counts way more, but I'm still worried.I'm also worried that I've shot myself in the foot regarding getting internships in subsequent years because of how my marks are.Has anyone been in a similar situation and actually managed to achieve a good degree class?
