Because i feel it is really more for the year 13s. Do the Y12s get in their way?
Should Y12s go in a bit later?
At the schools with whose results-day-formats I am familiar, the year 12s are given a later time to go in.
Year 12s have just as much right to go in and get their results! My results from last year were much more important and, for me, more highly anticipated than this year's. -

Otherwise, just turn up at a safe time. (Twelve would be my recommendation, but you never know...) They will have your results and I'm pretty sure they're obliged to give them to you! But a Google search hasn't yet confirmed this... -

But if you see someone who you recognise from the year above alone in a corner, grasping their mobile - Stay. The ****. Away.
Other than that, colleges usually open the doors to yr 12s one or two hours later. -

Re: Y12s at A-Level Results DayI asked my teacher as my college isn't the type to keep you in the loop on anything important (I'll likely get a letter through at some point though) and I'm in at 10am at the earliest, with the U6 going in from 8am onward.(Original post by kkid106)

You'll probably get a letter in the post soon, but as far as I'm aware the U6 get their results first and then the L6 get them after that. The college should've organised it so that neither will get in one another's way or what have you.

Re: Y12s at A-Level Results DayY13's need their results faster though, incase they miss their offers. Plus if everyone from sixth form was collecting their results at the same time it would be an absolute nightmare.(Original post by With an Accent)

Re: Y12s at A-Level Results DayY12s go an hour later at my school, and they tend to realise that Y13s are more important anyway. Nobody's in a hurry, they're all just standing around bantering about until the desk is free for them to get results.(Original post by kkid106)
