Insurance cheaper in first day of month?
Someone told me that insurance is cheaper if you look in the first few days of the month, i don't know why but i may have to agree with him because i usually look at insurances every few days or so and today is 1st of August. So my quotes was around £700-900 from Young Co Op on cars like VW Polo, Golf, Ford Focus, Peugeot 207 etc.

Has anyone else experience something like this? Im gonna try again in the next few days and see what quotes i get.

How will they really find out though?

Being a second driver to my dad on a Co-op young drivers insurance is the only way I can get a decent quote i.e. £1000 or around about.

It is hard for car insurance companies to find out, but if you have a accident it could cause massive problems.

Maybe i need to check at different time of day?

Was quoted £1200 on Audi A3 on 1st August, checked the next day, it was like £1700 and today the 3rd of August, its £2200

Mmmm, its not good to do that.
You won't be building up no claims, so your insurance won't get cheaper every year when you need to be a main driver on your own. It would be as if you are starting fresh, and would be determined by age alone and how long you've had your certificate for.
