    Changing my mind...
Currently am awaiting my AS-level results in Law,Politics, English Literature and ICT. I fairly confident that I will get good results as i was predicted A-B's.

However I currently feel that degree's I am able to do with my current AS-levels do not suit me at all. I wasn't mature enough or well informed when it came to choosing my A-levels.

Right now I am thinking about scraping all my AS subjects regardless of grades I get and picking up Chem, Bio and Geography.

This will mean having to stay an extra year in sixth form.
How will universities react to this?
What do you think I should do?

    Really confused at the moment

If you've had a change of heart go for it?!
In my opinion if you'd be better suited to sciences and that's what you enjoy why not?
    I'm sure universities would understand?
And as for staying an extra year? I am 19 and starting AS's in September

Politics and English Lit. are very solid A-levels. Law and ICT admittedly not. Talk extensively with admissions tutors (not frontdesk uni call taking people but actual admissions tutors) and your head of sixth form to see how switching will affect you. What might be a good idea is continuing English Lit and/or Politics to A2 whilst taking Biology and/or Chemistry AS and A2 in that year?

    Waah how come?
I was a bit of an idiot when I left school and thought I could breeze through AS', then I decided to work.

I would like to think I have matured a little. Aha :P

    I'm in a similar situation

I've emailed many universities, they've all stated it's fine and it won't put your application at a disadvantage

Thank you for that, that was one of my biggest worries.

Seriously though, that should be fine if you explain why you chose differently in your personal statement. If anything they will see it as determination to do 3 years
