Did any girls wear trousers to their graduation

I really want to wear smart fitted trousers and a pretty blouse to my graduation instead of the standard dress - did anybody else go for this look? Any ideas?

I doubt it, most girls prefer to make a bit of an effort. Plus, skirts or dresses are compulsory for graduation ceremonies at some unis.

I don't see why not, surely your gown will cover up most of your clothes anyway?

I think for most universities the dress code is just smart, isn't it?

So I think a pretty blouse and trousers would be fine to wear to a graduation ceremony  Plus as JKGB said, the gown will cover most of your outfit

I remember at least two of my friends wore nicely tailored smart trousers and a smart top/blouse.

I'm sure I've seen girls in trousers at Graduation ceremonies, you should be fine
Although.. Like the poster above said, I'm sure I've read/heard of places making skirts or dresses compulsory, but part of me thinks would that even be legal?!
