When should i sort that out as it seems a good idea to get

Halls often include basic contents insurance, so check if yours does and what it does / doesn't cover before you buy more. Invariably, however, these policies want you to pay more for mobiles, laptops, bikes etc. - generally anything that is likely to be stolen!
