Ted
Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

Ted
I don't know much about it but have been hearing good things from people that have already seen it. It got 4/5 on Empire if that's any indication. I'm going to try and go on Sunday. -
Re: Who's going to see Ted?I went to see this film last night! It was honestly brilliant! I have never been in a cinema where the audience are actually in hysterics! Now don't get me wrong, it wasn't oscar worthy, but it was fun and enjoyable!(Original post by Captain Jack)

Some of the humour could be construed as offensive, with jokes about 9/11 and strokes, but all-in-all it was a good movie! -
Re: TedSpoiler:Show"and if there is one thing you can be sure of it is that there is nothing more powerful than a young boys wish.....apart from an apache helicopter, it has machine guns AND missiles, it is a state of the art death machine"

One of the funniest films I've seen in a long time.Last edited by Darth Stewie; 02-08-2012 at 12:38. -

Re: TedYeah, he does sound exactly the same doesn't he... I'll have to try and not think about that when I watch it.(Original post by FilmNerd1989)
I think I would be more inclined to watch this if the bear didn't sound like Peter Griffin. Before anyone says it - yes, I KNOW that Seth Macfarlane does the voices for both, but I just thought he could have done a different voice for Ted. Lazy. -
Re: TedDoes Ted do the infamous peter griffin laugh too?(Original post by FilmNerd1989)

Re: TedHalf the cast of family guy is in Ted; i didn't realise but the voices of Joe & Louis are in too (and obviously meg).(Original post by Captain Jack)

I thought it was really good, underrated by the critics i think. -
Re: TedSeeing as it's a Seth Macfarlane film I get the feeling the trailer was less about showing the best bits from the film, and more about showing a trailer that is allowed to be aired on TV pre-watershed.(Original post by MrsLovett112)
Admittedly I haven't seen the film yet but by the looks of the trailer, I don't see the big hype
It's just a teddy bear doing... non-teddy bear things. Might be a bit of a chuckle but people are going crazy for this film
they've been doing the trailers/promotion for months now.
