Why do I always want a relationship when I go abroad?
    I've never been in a relationship before (i'm a 17 y.o male) and I don't really want to until I am older/ more independent.

The thing is, on the last three holidays I have been on, I always see someone who looks good and I am almost obsessed with seeing them. I never speak to them or anything, I just feel like I want to be with them. I also think about them often whilst on the holiday.

It's pretty annoying, as I've never ever met them before so I know I can't want to be with them as I don't know them. Also, a few days after I get home I am really not bothered any more and I go back to not being bothered about relationships.

Does anyone else get this or know why this happens?

I'm exactly the same, but I'm 16y.o girl. I've only been in very short relationships a few years ago, so nothing more than a kiss. But when I'm on holiday I get obsessed about meeting someone and being with them and I'm always on the lookout for someone on holiday.

It might be that you just feel more relaxed when you're on holiday and that you're also away from home and work and its related stress.
