Hello...So, I'm new here... Um, not entirely sure what to say.
I'm going to Glasgow Caledonian University this year to study Risk Management and I'm more nervous than I'd care to admit. Don't know anyone else who is going there, so it'd be good to meet some people, but university life in general just seems... scary. ._.
Anywho... yeah, new to this entire thing so please be nice. It'll probably take me a while to get used to this whole thing.

Ah, I'm glad to know I'm not the only nervous one out there, thought I might have just been really paranoid. Honestly though I don't think I've ever been so scared or nervous of something in my life!

Re: Hello...Aww lucky you can live at home. I could live at home but travelling would be a nuisance. What exactly are you worried about? I think I'm most worried about learning a new way to learn and making friends. Leaving my friends is going to be rather hard

i'm not going to that uni, but i am going in september. i'm so scared that my flatmates won't like me 
i think that's my biggest worry. as well as not 'fitting in'. i know that everyone is in the same position and i am so excited to go, i just have a nagging feeling it won't be as amazing as everyone makes out.
god that makes me sound so negative! i'm not i promise, just scared!

Oh my goodness that is exactly how I feel! I am kinda shy and don't drink as I'm not 18 til January and I'm so worried people will think I'm weird or just won't want to talk to me

D; I guess I'm most nervous about the same thing, making new friends, I mean at the start of Secondary school I was always sort of a loner but that was fine I guess, but Uni is just so much bigger. If I can find you. Uni has soo many people! My high school was quite small only about 900 pupils !
