So you are waiting for your A2 results?
What Uni are you hoping to get into?

Re: New here; in need of friends?
I've just finished my A2 exams..hopefully I've gotten into the university of my choice, but I'm having doubts :s How about you? And my summer was initially crappy and boring, but then I got a job, and now I'm just sort of taking things easy
How about you?
I've just finished my GCSEs, haven't done much this summer apart from trying to brush on my french for a levels (How sad am I?) and readig books. What a levels have you done and what uni do you want to go to? -
Re: New here; in need of friends? It's a really addictive website, see that you are a himym fan, there is a society here and discussion thread that you can join. How's your summer going?(Original post by Rosa Arabelle)
Hey! Thanks, I'm sort of just taking things as they come, but I'll definitely tell you if there's anything I find strange

I'm waiting :/ I'm hoping to get into Durham, but I don't see that happening, haha. Are you in college/uni?
Haha thanks! I had to Google it because I saw other users do it, and I managed to do it
Oh, awesome - and that's not sad at all. It'll give you an advantage when you're in college, trust me(Original post by Starrstruck)

Cool, what books? I've recently finished reading a fantastic book called 'A Monster Calls' - it's dark, but kind of humorous and cute - sort of like a dark fairytale with no happy ending
I want to go to Durham
Any ideas what uni's you hope to apply to?

Re: New here; in need of friends?I've just finished Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks, it was excellent and I would definitely recommend it to you. I'll be checking out A Monster Calls, it sounds interesting. I was actually hoping to do English at Durham but I think it's a bit far fetched - Durham is fiercely competitive for english, isn't it? What degree are you hoping to do?(Original post by Rosa Arabelle)

Yeah, it is competitive to get into, but as long as you try your best when doing your AS's, then I'm sure you'll do fine. I'm hoping to do Law
I've literally only just begun - I'm onto my third lesson next Monday(Original post by AJCSShp)

And what course are you planning to do? Evidently you were too awesome for Durham
I'm planning to take Law. -
Re: New here; in need of friends?Brilliant book, read it a few years ago and can still remember most of it and that's saying something! You're right it's very competitive for English but I know I would regret not applying in a few years just because of that(Original post by Starrstruck)

Natural Science at Lancaster. Aww thank you, I'm kind of relieved I don't need to get A*AA though!
What's your offer?
Law!
Impressive, is that in the main campus? What college did you apply for?
What is your insurance choice?
Wow I ask a lot of questions don't I!
