Iv been wearing glasses for years & yes, your eyes get worse.
These people get extra money if they give you a new subscription that's why your eyes get worse. Two years ago I went for a checkup & found the strength of my prescription was soo high that my eyes could of got damaged.
Be careful.

My sight has gone worse from -0.25 in 2006 I am not -4.00 in both eyes. Yes, I wear them all the time...

My eyes got worse after my prescription from boots was too strong. Not a lot worse, but nonetheless. But that wasn't necessarily down to the glasses. I don't think glasses make your eyes worse. I think it is more then fact that when you do get glasses, you continue with the same habits (and have the same genes) that made your eyes worse in the first place. Continuing on, if you are in puberty, your eyes will naturally get worse.

My eyes weren't that bad to start with, but when I started wearing glasses in about year 8 they got far worse each year. I don't think it's the actual glasses that made them worse- it's probably a genetic thing for me as my dad also has dire eyes. I wear mine all the time now; the world is a blur without them. The only time I take them off in the day is if I go clubbing :')
