    Anyone else thinking that Jess Varnish could be the only GB track cyclist who will leave without a gold? Just like Cav did 4 years ago. Could prove a blessing in disguise as it was for the manx missile.

    I might as well ask in here.

    During the team pursuits, it seems like each almost always loses one member i.e. someone pulls away from the team and doesn't get back in time, which has a detrimental effect on their results.

    Why do they lose a member in the first place? Is it simply because they can't keep up?
