What can I have done to my teeth?
As a child I never really went to the dentist but I've become more aware of my dental hygiene as I got older. I very small teeth, to the extent that the average teeth are probably twice the length of mine. I also have severely uneven teeth, in particular my bottom teeth. Due to an accident I have two crowns on my left incisor and canine, which (due to root canal) has caused part of my gum to go black from bruising. I also have a white blob on my right incisor, which completely stands out from the rest of my teeth, and that particular tooth is a lot smaller than all the others. They are also slightly discoloured but this doesn't bother me as much as the others. I hope to save up and be able to sort out all these problems: make my top teeth longer, straighter, and remove the bruising and white blob. I don't want anything particularly fake looking, nor perfect, just normal looking teeth. What procedures should I be looking at? At what sort of cost are they?
These are my current teeth:

Re: What can I have done to my teeth?
Some people are born with small teeth (like me) and there isn't anything you can do about that, apart from that the only thing you could probably do would be braces to straighten out the uneven bottom ones, I don't know how much they cost as I had mine done for free as I was under 18 when they started the treatment, and there are loads of different ones now. The white blob is probably flouride which a dentist can sort really easily and probably wouldn't even charge for it as it's just a case of scraping it off.

Re: What can I have done to my teeth?
Veneers? They can be VERY expensive though.
I wouldn't stress too much about them though i've seen worse. If you don't point it out, most people won't even notice.
Not to be mean at all- this might sound really rude and i'm sorry but i'm obsessed with skin and yours looks quite bumpy and congested.. I would worry about that before the teeth (personal opinion).. Do you have a good skin care routie? -
Re: What can I have done to my teeth? My skin varies. Yes, it can be awful as you saw in the picture, but at the moment its not too bad. Although any tips on a good skin care routine would be useful also!(Original post by Beautiful.In.Los.Angeles.)

Re: What can I have done to my teeth?
I used to have congested skin and managed to clear it up completely, so much so that I get complimeted on my skin. One of the main things that helped was Panoxyl 5 aqua gel for mild / moderate acne- there are plenty of reviews to read and you can see if it would be suitable for your skin type. I couldn't go without it now.
Also, find a face mask suited to your skin type and use it a couple of times a week- the shop Lush is perfect for this- just go in and ask the staff who are usually very helpful and are trained to suggest a cleanser and face mask suitable for your skin type.
I also exfoliate my face with pure lemon juice and sugar a few times a week- this takes off all the dead skin and leaves baby smooth skin which is perfect for absorbing and getting the most from the panoxyl gel and any other products you use. -
Re: What can I have done to my teeth?I agree with all of this along with a regular facewash, toner and moisturiser suited for your skin type that you use morning and night.(Original post by Beautiful.In.Los.Angeles.)

As for your teeth - I've seen worse but I'd speak to your dentist to see what they suggest. -
Re: What can I have done to my teeth?
Braces on the bottom, to sort out any overcrowding, maybe to sort out any discolouration would whitening work? I don't know too much about it but someone at work had it done and it did look good plus you can even buy home kits now to save some money. To sort out the shape you could use veneers - these can change the shape, colour and size of the teeth, just like a fake nail would. They remove a bit of the outside of the tooth and then place porcelain 'slices' (I suppose you could call it that) over the top. Although this is very costly (the price depends on how many teeth you get done) it would be worth it if it bothered you. I think maybe, looking at the photo, maybe the bottom teeth being slightly overcrowded is the most obvious thing, although that isn't really that bad, but it's not me deciding, it's you

Good luck with whatever you go for
(loving all these dentistry related questions on tsr by the way - I'm a bit of a wannabe dentist so keep 'em coming!)
