    Babies At The Olympics
I'm not making an excuse for or against del Potro losing but do you think his concentration was off because of the baby? What are your views? Should parents be able to enjoy a once in a lifetime experience with their children or do crying babies just spoil the whole event?

They should, especially since kids do not get in free.

Screaming babies annoy the hell out of me. Personally I think that small children who can keep quiet are okay at events, but with babies, you never know when they will start screaming at the top of their lungs :/

We don't have to choose between quiet and babies - it's easy to keep a baby quiet. A dummy or some duct tape will do the trick.

Baby should be allowed, but rushed straight out when it starts making noise as it is at wimbledon.

But no, I don't think he lost his concentration because of the baby and it wouldn't have made him lose.

Reading a letter into the London Evening Standard the other day, a man wrote in saying how he was getting filthy looks just because his children were quietly asking questions during the match. He ended up leaving early and even had a woman follow them requesting security didn't let them back in. I feel that is out of order.

As for babies, well as long as you keep them quite and rush them off if they do start screaming then I feel it should be fine to bring them to an event.
