Why cant i buy a lottery ticket with a credit card?Okay so Euromillions draw is this eve so i went into the local Co-Op to buy the lottery ticket for it but when i tryed to pay with my credit card the teller said that theyre unable to accept them, spoke to my mum she said she's had the same problem at several other stores in the past... i dont suppose anyone knows why this is ?

Re: Why cant i buy a lottery ticket with a credit card?It is because retailers make hardly any profit on lottery tickets and incur a charge if a customer uses their card. So they lose money by letting you pay by card, I've had the same problem when I use to want to pay for phone top-ups by card.
