    Moving to another country :)
So basically my parents are going through a rather messy divorce and my mum has decided that she wants to move closer to her family and she wants to take my younger brother away from everything- so this means we'll either be going stateside or moving back to Brazil. The only problem with this is that I'm halfway through my GCSEs and will be starting year 11 come September, does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing and whether it would be the right thing for me to do (I have the option of staying with my sister in London.)?

It might be easier for you to finish with your GCSEs in London as otherwise you'll be in a different education system with different exam boards, content etc. and you'd be practically starting from scratch. After that you can do A-levels and particularly the IB virtually anywhere (and it'll be just the same - the IB in Brazil/US will be the same as here and worth just as much).

Ok, thanks I'll talk it over with my mum, I was a bit worried about the education systems (mainly in Brazil).

I would finish off year 11, and then move to Brazil with your family. I'm going through exactly the same thing, expect i'm a year older and i live in the US and am moving back to the UK. I'm a year older than you though, so i can go straight to a sixth form college where most people are new and it will be easier for me to make friends. but yeah, definitely move to Brazil after year 11. there is nothing worse than being away from your family, especially your mom!
