I can't update my email address?My UCAS application is linked to my previous email address, which I lost access too a couple of months ago. The UCAS website says you can update it from the 'personal details' section on Track, however when I log in to track, there is no such option?
Does this mean I cannot change my contact info? This is worrying so close to results as I won't be able to access any emails from UCAS or universities! -

I think you can make changes on the 8th of August, but track is then frozen again from the 9th of August.
That may be the cause of your problem but I'm not sure, someone else may know why

I think you can make changes on the 8th of August, but track is then frozen again from the 9th of August.

Ah thank you so much! Was so confused, and worried I'd miss any important emails from my firm/insurance :P(Original post by orange.bananna)

My friend managed to lock herself out of track with 3 hours to go before the deadline for firming and insurancing uni's, she rang them up and they sorted it(Original post by laurennmc)

To add though, it couldn't harm you ringing them now for peace of mind. I wouldn't be surprised if they did change it for you, since they have been sending out a few emails in the past few days, and they might want to make sure you're receiving them. It can't hurt, and may give you peace of mind early. -

Re: I can't update my email address?I had a similar problem and it was the admissions people from the uni who made the change for me. How? They make the changes in their system and hopefully if filters through to Ucas. Best option though is to call ucas if you can and get them to change it for you.(Original post by laurennmc)

Re: I can't update my email address?Logged onto track this morning with the intention of changing my email address - it still doesn't give me the 'personal details' section to make any ammendments. Looks like I will be phoning UCAS soon; sort of dreading it. Expecting it to be a long wait since it's Scottish results day so there will be many people ringing for advice on clearing and whatnot.

Re: I can't update my email address?You might need to force a full refresh to get the buttons to show - hit Ctrl + F5. If no luck then leave it til tomorrow (and if the option isn't there then UCAS should be able to do it over the phone at that point....) -

Sort of stressing as I'm going to Leeds early tomorrow morning, therefore losing internet access and by time I'm back track will be frozen again haha! I'll do the full refresh now, if not I'll just keep trying all day.
