Not necessarily - you'll only know before IF Cumbria have decided to accept you (even if you meet your offer they might not do this in time) AND send that decision to UCAS before results day.

Yes, they will let you know in the morning of 16th August if they hear from the university. You will not hear before then contrary to what the email implied - I discussed this with UCAS yesterday and there is clarification from their end coming out today because it was very misleading. As soon as I get it through from the UCAS team I will be posting it on TSR too.

the subject line of your email is generic and wont tell you anything about the actual content of the email - so you can check your phone and just not open the email if you like..

My phone shows the first couple of words of the email as it scrolls across the top of my screen when I get it I'm scared it'll show me something that tells me how I've done.

The emails Scottish students got from midnight onwards were their results. You won't get the UCAS email till Track updates in the morning.
