    Any good cold, nausea remedies?
So, I went to bed last night with a minor runny nose and sore throat. Woken up this morning absolutely full of cold I've taken some sudafed and have some albas oil on a tissue, are there any other good and easy ways to try and clear some of the congestion?

Secondly, this morning since waking up, I've been sick 4 times, I don't so much mind the being sick part as whatever's in my body clearly needs to come out ha, but, it's the nausea i'm finding really hard to deal with. Has anyone got any suggestions?

    thank you!

I always feel better after a shower. And for a sore throat, friend of mine swear by lemon and honey tea or warm blackcurrant squash (this one does help, in my experience, eases the scratchiness).

I feel better when I'm nauseous just lying in bed, relaxing but having a bucket beside me if needs me. That way you don't have to worry about making it to the bathroom in time.

There's not much you can do except take it easy, though. Colds just need time to clear up.
Hope you feel better soon anyway.

Thanks, I'm planning not to move from bed today and try and sleep, but, the nausea really is horrible! Bleh. Thank you.

This is probably a little too late, but peppermints are great for nausea. I hope you feel better soon!

:console: Inhaling steam can sometimes help with congestion - get a big bowl of water from the kettle, put your head over it with a towel over the top and breath deeply for a while. You could get a similar affect from a hot shower if you're feeling up to it.
