    Day out in the UK!
Right, I want to go to a nice place in the UK for a picnic. I know it sounds strange but I really want to go to a really nice place that has views to admire.

I was thinking Dartmoor? Or exbury.co.uk this place.

Ideas welcome, perhaps not Scotland as thats too far and I don't fancy spending the day driving.

Travelling from the Milton Keynes area.

    Thanks

There's some beautiful places in Derbyshire. If you want a wild looking landscape, then Froggatt/Curbar edge are great. They look like something straight out of Wuthering Heights.

If you want an idlylic little town with old, pretty builings then Bakewell is stunning. Haddon Hall is also nearby- it's got some beautiful walks! Matlock is another lovely place and if you're interested I'm pretty sure there's a cave or something you can go down in.

But one my favourite places in the world is Chatsworth estate. If you like stately homes, then the house/gardens are well worth paying for and I honestly can say I haven't seen a more grand stately home! And if not then there's some gorgeous scenic walks with deers and sheep and stuff. You could start at Baslow which is your typical pretty little village with lovely cottages and walk into Chatsworth.

Castleton is also a really great place. It's an old looking town and some great walks are near by.

As you can tell, I love Derbyshire :')

Buxton is also quite a nice place. And if you want somewhere with the sea/nice scenery then Whitby is charming/
