Chances for Oxford, LSE, UCL, KCL
Hi all, I read that LSE, UCL and KCL don't have interviews for their M100 law degree, so it's pretty much all based on merit. I'd really appreciate it if I could get a rough assessment on my chances based on my grades so far (:

I am in my final year of pre-university and applying for 2013, taking the Singaporean A-levels.

Predicted grades: Straight As for Bio, Chem, Math, Econs and GP
2011 overall grades: Straight As (about 30/1200 in my school, which is pretty prestigious, get these grades)
SAT: 2300 (730 for writing, 780 critical reading, 790 math)
SAT subject 2: 800 for Bio M, Chem and Math 2
LNAT results only in next year

    Thanks in advance!

Your SAT grades won't matter for British universities.

Three of those are LNAT universities, so how you perform on that will be a factor in whether you get in. You will not know the results of this before you apply so it may be worth looking into an alternative non-LNAT uni (I would say either Cam for Ox or somewhere like Bristol/Notts/Durham/Warwick for KCL).

Otherwise your grades appear to be good

Those grades seem to be fine, are you going to year 12? Also are there no a star predictions for Malaysian A levels?

There are 1200 people in your year? Ouch.

Yeah, my school's huge. But there are only two years, so it's fine (:
From reading around I noticed that the LNAT really seems to be extremely important, crossing my fingers for that... does anyone know how much importance the unis place on GCSE-equivalent grades?

You'll be fine, make sure you do well in the LNAT.
