    Uni Textbooks?
Hiya guys, I'm going into my second year and just got my reading list through (am an English Lit student, in case you were wondering!), and I have a remarkable amount of textbooks which are around £30 a pop. Is there anywhere that you know of that sells them cheaper?

I've tried Amazon/eBay, but to no avail :/

    Thank you!

Try bookfinder.com it may come up with some of other sites and more second hand options. Unfortunately the more obscure books tend to hold their value. Also do not rule out buying books from abroad, if you can wait 2-3 weeks for them to be delivered.

Students who have finished their second year might be selling them. At my university there would be flyers on noticeboards of people selling books.

Unfortunately textbooks can be expensive. I've just purchased about £50 worth for my MSc. Thankfully I also found a couple of the ones I need online in PDF format, but it's pretty hit and miss!

The thing is, you're going into second year, so you know the drill. You wait until you arrive and only purchase textbooks after two or three weeks once you know which ones you will definitely need. Also, as has already been said, check out the book sale stalls at the start of term for cheap deals. I've heard Waterstone Markplace is decent for English Lit books?
