    A Touch of Cloth
There's a new British crime drama spoof called A Touch of Cloth being aired this month on Sky 1 and Sky 1 HD. It's set to star Scottish actor John Hannah as DCI Jack Cloth and Suranne Jones as DC Anne Oldman. The entire one-off series will be written by Charlie Brooker.

I watched the trailer for this yesterday and I have to say, I pissed myself laughing. It was hilarious.

What are your thoughts? Is anyone thinking of watching this?

Just watching "the making of ..." on Sky Anytime

Charlie Brooker says that he wanted something that "if you turned the sound off you would think that you were watching a real detective series"

I think he has this spot on

I thought it had its moments, there were some funny references but it was just too absurd and not as clever as I would expect from Charlie Brooker.

Did like the fact a lot of the locations were where I used to live in Uxbridge. Like The Inbetweeners all over again.

Ok, when i first saw this advertised on TV i thought it was a serious crime drama, i saw the title and thought WTF?! Have i just got a really immature mind or are the TV blokes just incompetent for naming a show a touch of cloth, however now that i know it is a spoof i shall check it out.

    Exactly what I thought!

I've only seen the first episode, but I found it very funny. Ridiculous, but funny.

I loved this show. I love the type of comedy.

For those who don't know there are only these two episodes with another two part story in production with plans for a third.

Really wish it was a full length TV series.
