Who hates very early morning starts as much as I do?
I have never met a single individual who hates early morning starts as much as I do. They affected me so badly it was unreal. I would need to wake up at 6:30am-7am in the morning each day. I felt like **** for the whole day.
My body has never been able to go to the toilet for a poo early in the morning. No matter how much I tried to get used to waking up early. No matter how much I shifted my eating times. No matter how much fibre I ate or how good my diet was. I always needed a poo between about 9am and 11am when I was in lessons. I had to put it off always. I had this horrible constipated, lethargic feeling every day I was at school. I was in so bad mood I hated talking. People said I was shy and unconfident. They should try being constipated every single day of the week. I would go 4, 5 or even 6 days without pooing (I couldn't go in the evening).
My bodyclock has always preferred going to bed late. When I was in secondary school I could never fall asleep at the normal time of 10pm-12am. I was awake till 2am or later almost every day. I got 6 hours of sleep at best. 2 hours at worst. Normally 4-5 hours. Teenagers are recommended to get 8-10 hours or more. That and constipation made me feel like **** day in day out at school.
Nothing has changed. I dread early morning starts. They affect me so badly. I dread the day I work 9-5. I won't cope.Last edited by snowman77; 04-08-2012 at 22:31. -

I love early morning starts. There's never anybody around. It's like I've died and gone to heaven. -

Also - try getting up at 3am to drive lorries, then you'll know about early starts. -

Well good news for you that it's been scientifically problem that your natural body clock shifts as you enter your twenties so you feel tired earlier and wake up earlier
teenagers suit late starts, it may be that your body lock is particularly strict and unchangable, I'd maybe consult your doctor and see what they can advise as it sounds like its giving you a lot of grief.

I think I hate them as much as you do
I can't even eat before 12 noon, otherwise I just feel ill
one time I had to wake up at 6am for paper round, I just felt so horrid and nauseous from having to wake up and cycle around at a time like that, when I realized it was all for liek £3 or something, I quit instantly
I do agree that 3-7am is probably the best, most beautiful time of day but I can only fully appreciate it when I go out at that time after staying awake through night, rather than just after waking up -

Re: Who hates very early morning starts as much as I do?I had some 5am starts at the beginning of this year, and they were awful. I always had to roll myself out of bed so I basically fell to the floor, so that I was so uncomfortable I would have to get up.
I usually get up at 6 - 6:30am if I have somewhere to be, and it is quite nice to feel like you have the whole day left ahead of you, and it's very peaceful when no one else is up.

once I've had a shower I feel alright but getting out of bed is the hard part
