    emusic.com - Hell! Please help!
To cut a long story short, with my bank account (Lloyds) they offer 40 free music downloads withe emusic.com. I signed up and had to give my bank details
It turns out I've now been charged £25!! As it was a 14 day trial that I didn't cancel. I didn't even realise it was time limited - I am sure it said only when you use all 40 free songs you would be charged. Anyway.

I tried to contact them, but the only way was one of those 'live chat' things at 9pm on a Sat evening. I chatted to a guy who was really rude and had a serious attitude problem with comments like 'Just wait I can handle this' (in my response to asking to speak to someone more senior), 'If you had done something about it then I could have helped you' (in response to me saying I couldn't even download any tracks due to a technical issue).

I'm gonna try and ring them tomorrow mornign (0845 number ) to try and ask for a refund more for horrendous customer service than just being charged. Do you think I have a chance? A bit pissed off at the moment

Hi, I would contact them, it could just be a simple mistake. If you get a rude person ask to speak to the manager. If all fails and they refuse to refund you contact your bank. Visa and Mastercard both have protection polices which protect you in situations like this.

Ok thanks I'll try and phone them tomorrow and refer to my experience tonight with the rude chat guy. Thanks

Well seeing as you never actually got to download any of the music and assuming it was there fault not yours they should be obliged to refund you, failing that get your bank to issue a charge back against them.
