Predicted 9A*s & not convinced?!!!!!
Well, my sister who is amazingly intelligent is predicted 9A*s (and already shes got an A in Islamic Studies - she did it in Year nine/ten) and shes really worried. I think the teachers should of predicted her lower cause then its lesser the chance she gets dissapointed on the day, Im sure she wont, but as 23rd August approaches I can see her getting more nervous. And to top it off, its our parents 21st wedding anniversary on that day too. *GULP* any advice I can give to her? xxx

Re: Predicted 9A*s & not convinced?!!!!!I think its because shes never really failed anything before. I think shes scared of failure which is making her doubt her own ability. I know she'll do fine, but I think the worst thing that could really happen is she gets one less A* and an A instead.(Original post by Starrstruck)
Tell her not to stress too much about it, I was a little nervous before but now I'm just going to have to be satisfied with whatever I get. A Levels are much more important than GCSEs anyway. -
Re: Predicted 9A*s & not convinced?!!!!!
Unless she's going into med or something like that, the difference it's going to make if she got 9A*s compared with 3 A*s and 6 As, for example, is negligable.
That could either make her feel good if she doesn't quite get it, or slightly annoyed if she does. But either way, that is pretty much the truth.
