Re: Thinking Skills Assessment helpDoes that definately increase your chances of being accepted? Or does it just place more of the significance on your PS?(Original post by Podcaster)
yeah just apply for a college that doesn't require it. i don't see why everyone doesn't do this. -
Re: Thinking Skills Assessment helpWell one less thing to fail. I think it's all about your interview tbh. Everybody writes the same old "let me in! I'm the best!" crap in their ps anyway. Whatever you wrote the admissions tutors have seen it a million times. However each person in an interview is unique.(Original post by KD35)

Re: Thinking Skills Assessment helpI actually deliberately chose a college which requires it as I thought it was pretty easy and preferred it to, let's say, a 1h test in maths/physics. Anyway, it worked.(Original post by Podcaster)

Re: Thinking Skills Assessment help
http://www.admissionstests.cambridge...st+Preparation - the only thing I did was doing the practice tests. That way you can get familiar with the format of the test and what types of questions appear on it. To be honest, that should be enough.

Re: Thinking Skills Assessment helpI'm not sure this is good advice. When I applied my qualifications were far from stellar and my interviews didn't go very well at all, but I aced the TSA and I think that went some way towards mitigating the bad things. On the other hand, if the TSA doesn't go well then it's often cast aside as nerves and they focus on the other things.(Original post by Podcaster)

So I'd see it more as "one more opportunity to show how good you are" rather than "one less thing to fail".
Also OP, there is a website about TSA preparation here. -
