Without terms and conditions you are entitled to the legal minimum.
If it's casual work you might want to consider whether making a fuss about it is worthwhile, because of course he can just not ask you to come back. Make sure you get paid for the full six hours.Last edited by Norton1; 05-08-2012 at 01:39. Reason: Remove misleading information -

However, I will give you my understanding of the law which is that the fact it has been the same shift for two years is not conclusive of an employment relationship.(Original post by Jaimie_M)
its not casual its been the same shift without fail for 2 years
I suggest that you take a look on the direct.gov website for more information on workers and employees and perhaps consider going to see your local CAB.
