Why do people do this?
Why do people feel that getting pissed allows them to act like ****ing morons and ruin other people's nights? I'm in the house now and my cousin who is pissed out of her face is storming around the house, having phone arguments with her boyfriend, she just lobbed a phone in my direction and it nearly hit me and she's waking the whole house up with her 'WHY DO YOU HAVE TO DO THIS, WHYYY?' melodramatic ****. She just left and my auntie came in to eat her food because of Ramadan and she leaves and slams the door as hard as she could and it really pissed me off and if she was a guy I would say something.
It's like people think that because they're drunk, it gives them the right to act like idiots because they've got an excuse to do so, even if the alcohol isn't fully causing them to do whatever it is they're doing. They bring attention to themselves by slamming doors, as if to say 'I.AM.ANGRY'. Yeah, so? Why do you have to show me that, why not tell me? In fact, there's nothing that I can say or do that will stop you being angry so why dont you not do anything at all?
I swear it's so ridiculous, I know people who go out specifically to get hammered and act like fools, they actually take pride in the fact that they were vomiting all night because of how many shots they had. I'm not impressed and I wish these idiots knew that their actions aren't cool but infact make them look ridiculous and are looked down upon by most people. Way to go boss, you have just rightfully earned the criticism of most people with your stupid antics, aren't you a success?
Now I'm not about ruining people's fun and in fact I've got quite drunk myself in the past and I'm all for a good night out with some mates and a few drinks, but the limit to silliness is dance moves and perhaps comments made to girls
I'm just sick of some people acting like complete plebs when they're drunk and in my opinion, they need to be told directly how uncool and ridiculous their drunk antics often are. Just go out, have a drink, have a laugh, dance and then go home FFS.
Anybody agree or want to add their own sentiments to this? -
Re: Why do people do this?Yeah she's a mix of all three. Tbh she likes to bring attention to herself even when she's not drunk and I don't know why people feel the need to do that.(Original post by g_star_raw_1989)
Different people react differently to alcohol. The type of drunk you describe are among the most annoying along with the violent drunks or emotional drunks.
I remember being up Walsall a few months back and at about 4am there was this big fight going on outside the club and even the most reserved of girls were going mad, jumping on people and cars, it was crazy. Some people just need to stop drinking alcohol, they clearly can't handle it. Personally no matter how much I've drunk, I can handle what I'm doing and have control over myself and a lot of people I know do too and if you don't, then just stay in and watch your soaps on 4od or stick to the orange juice is what I say. -
Re: Why do people do this?Your auntie was fasting and your cousin is drunk? If you don't mind me asking, are they both muslims?(Original post by theonefrombrum)

Re: Why do people do this?
What annoys me the most is the people that know their limits, know how much of a fool they'll look when they pass those limits but continue to do so. One of my friends before we were going to a party, asked me to remind her not to drink too much or do anything stupid. She knows that if she drinks vodka or has more than a couple of beers this will happen, yet she did so anyway and ended up embarrassing herself massively. Yet since then she's done the same thing several more times.
There's nothing wrong with being drunk and letting yourself go every so often but it's possible to still drink, have a good time and not be at the state where you're vomiting and passing out. If you are at the stage where you need to ask someone to look after you for the whole night, hindering the amount of fun they can have then you seriously need to reevaluate your drinking limits. -

Re: Why do people do this?Sounds pretty much standard for a night out in Walsall to be fair.(Original post by theonefrombrum)

Re: Why do people do this?Yeah, some people are better off not losing their inhibitions. Judging by your name, I'm guessing you know what Broad street is like at closing time, just full of insecure idiots who've had too many WKDs and think they're Mike Tyson all of a sudden.(Original post by theonefrombrum)

Re: Why do people do this?
I personally carry what some may think to be a brutal view of not helping anybody who is drunk, no matter what they need, whether it is getting home or simply help walking, using a phone etc. If they have taken the decision to become drunk then let them reap the consequences.
The only person I have helped is family. If I see friends passed out needing to go home, then let them learn their lesson, however brutal it may be.
