    Nightlife in Reading?
Me and some friends are in Reading week after next for a couple of days and want to go for a night out.

Anyone who knows Reading/is a student at Reading uni!!! HELP!! Whats good on a Tuesday? Naturally we're looking for student nights as its slightly cheaper. Lots of people recommend Sakura but others say it is overrated???
Is Revs any good on a Tuesday?

Any pre-drinking bars that are cheap and recommended??!!!

    Appreciated any tips/opinions!

Reading is, for the most part, ****. Chavs everywhere. Expensive drinks, expensive taxis.

Rev's is the usual place to go to on a tuesday, drinks are fairly pricy but not ridiculous, about £3.00 for a double vodka mixed if i remember right. Don't get there too late, it fills up fast and they don't generally say when it's one-in-one-out so you can end up queueing outside for an hour for nothing.

It is a bit chavvy unfortunately but you'll get that everywhere.

For pre-drinks, yates is just around the corner and is relatively cheap, there is a huge smoking area if that helps. Opposite yates there's a big spoons too.

I'd avoid getting a takeaway from zorbas (next to revs) if you intend for it to stay inside you, the food is grim.
