M1 motion in a straight line question.
Hi, got this question in my M1 book, but couldnt find the way to solve it.

Amanda's car has a maximum speed of 2Vms-1. She wishes to complete a certain journey at an average speed of V ms-1. Whatis the minimum average speed at which she could complete the first half of the journey and still meet her target for the whole journey?

Could u write the fool solution pls.

If you take a look at the sticky in this section, we're not meant to give you the full answer as this would be hindering your learning.

If you post your current attempt at the workings, we can help you where you went wrong and point you in the right direction.

    Try it with some numbers

    Imagine the journey is 1km
Set your max speed as 20m/s

So you do the second 500m at 20m/s
But you do the whole journey at 10m/s

    Does that help
