    Re: Psychology
    Hi,

I recommend these textbooks (although they are worthwhile for a casual read as well) for your abnormal psychology and cognitive psychology modules, respectively. They both can be used at A Level, but they extend well into first and second year psychology material:
    Abnormal Psychology by Ann Kring
Cognitive Psychology by Michael W. Eysenck
Also check out The Psychology of Science and Mind by Richard Gross, which is the one I'm using for A Level psychology but, as before, it extends into undergraduate psychology.

As for textbooks specific to Coventry University, I can't really say as I don't know.
