    Hi guys

I'm doing a small dietary survey and I'm interested in what you eat on a typical day: breakfast, lunch , dinner and any snack in between.

    Myself as an example:

Lunch: Salad (vegetarian) , apple, cereal bar

Dinner: Soup with a slice of brown bread, two caramel rice crackers

Snacks: apple, 2 cheese oat biscuits

Re: what do you eat on a typical day?
Breakfast: 4-6 scrambled eggs with butter and cheese with 2 slices of toast and butter

Lunch: 2 tins of tuna, oil, salad

Dinner 1: Chicken soup and a 12" baguette with butter

Dinner 2: 4-600g of chicken and 500g veggies with either stir fry sauce or soy sauce depending on how much sugar I want.

I'll also eat chocolate and/or cake if I feel flat and have to lift heavy stuff.

Pre workout snack is usually 2 tbspns of peanut butter mixed with a dollop of honey.

Most people who post here will be those who are very aware of what they eat i.e. people who eat very little/insubstantial meals or people who eat lots/workout.

WTF? How can you eat so little? I am a skinny guy, but I don't think I've ever eaten that little in any day during my entire life!

Apologies if you're telling the truth, but I don't believe any healthy person eats this in a day. There's hardly any food

    Breakfast: apple, banana
    Tea break: oats
Lunch: chicken salad , no dressing. Fruit salad
    Tea break: coffee
Dinner: carbs, about 600cals worth of chicken breast, marinade and a ton of veg.

I need to cut down on my fruit and find time for a proper breakfast.

I finish couch to 5k in about 3 weeks at which point I'll be starting lifting and revamping my diet. I'd like to try keto at some point.

currently I take about 1900 cals a day and I've been consistently dropping 3-4lbs a week.

Ok so I have 320 kcal in my waking up shake. 300-900 kcal in my fruits. About 60kcals from aminos, 1000 kcals from 4 cheese stuff/ chicken breast with cheese, 900-1500 kcal from seeds and another 240 from the last shake.

So I eat about 3000 kcals. And that's only from "main meals", which I always have, even if not hungry. I don't keep track of my snacks as I have them randomly.

I only eat clean food & no sugar. I work out for at least one hour per day.

    Typical food intake
Breakfast- one egg scrambled with large mixed salad, EVOO
Lunch- Tin tuna in brine & veg/salad. Homemade mayo. handful of berries
Dinner- chicken & large stir fry cooked in extra virgin coconut oil.
Snacks would be berries and/or nuts.
I also drink copious amounts if water 😊

Re: what do you eat on a typical day?
Breakfast - shredded wheat with milk (about 80g of wheat)

Lunch - (today I had) 500g boiled potatoes, half a roast chicken and 250g of boiled peas

Tea - Not sure what I'll have yet, but around the same quantities as lunch (in terms of carbs/proteins/fats)

Before sleeping - two apples (or equivalent in the form of whatever fruit is in the house)

Will probably just drink water throughout the day as well.

    Breakfast: Nothing.

Lunch: Maybe a packet of crisps or two.

Tea: the usual british dinner you expect to have (sausage & potatoes, chicken curry, McDonalds once a week)

I haven't drunk water in almost a year now because I have some sort of allergic reaction to it.

Its hard to gain weight when you don't like meat and are put off dairy products.

Fair point, but why not replace most of it with food? I would have thought it was cheaper than using supplements to get the same amount of calories.

I would not use this information for a survey. The question hasn't been answered by typical people, but people interested in fitness.
