Hahaha he is cute! Definitely take him! I have some that I can't live without, first is my small hippopotamus that my bf bought me our first Christmas together because I kept singing "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas" (YouTube if you don't know ) and then I have an equal sized bear that his mum bought me the next Christmas. Both are clothed with mini jumpers from each of the two unis I've studied at in the UK (one as a visiting student from my home uni and the other for my masters). I have already decided what my third mini teddy will be (I need a third so I can clothe it with the mini jumper from the uni I'm going for my PhD - I have an obsession with mini stuff and with uni merchandise). It ll be a mini moomin!!
I also have a frog, another bear named Catullus and a bunny.

Oink is cute! I've still got some cuddly toys, mostly cat ones and a bunny I was given the day I was born. I'm not embarrassed about them.

I'd definitely take Oink with you. I reckon a lot of people will bring teddies! They're something familiar in an unfamiliar environment. Like a piece of home and comfort .

Put it this way, would you leave him with your parents if you moved out completely?

EVERYONE has a teddy at uni, I have tons, and they're dotted around the house xD We had a penguin one in the fridge for about 2 weeks, simply because he wouldn't fit anywhere else!

I guess they are quite companionable when you have locked yourself in your room to do an assignment in a day.

My sister is taking a teddy to uni- she thinks it'll be ok because when she went to an applicant day at the uni she went on a tour of halls and there were teddies on one of the beds.

I had Lucy the Sheep and Daisy the Cow. My bear George, that i've had since I was born comes to stay every so often. My mum won't let me take him full time.
