How old are you when you start Uni??

How old are you when you start Uni??I'm 23 and I'm off to Uni in September
CANNOT WAIT!!!!
How old will you be?
I know it's silly but I've got these stupid thoughts that I'm going to be surrounded by 18 year old who just think I'm 'old'
I know 23 isn't old but when I was 18, being 20 sounded MILES away, never mind 23.
I'm sure i won't be, and even if I am, they won't be as immature as my brain keeps thinking they will be.
Im in normal accommodation, not postgrad (I could have been because I'm over 21)
I'm just stressing and ranting for no reason
But yeah how old will you be when you start University??

Re: How old are you when you start Uni??22. When I first went to uni at York I was 21 but had the mentality of an 18 year old. In the past year I've surprisingly matured a lot.. which doesn't bode well when socialising with the 'brats' ><;

21 if I manage to get in coming September. At least we have more life experience and will be more responsible when it comes to alcohol so we can laugh at drunk 18-year-olds falling over.

Re: How old are you when you start Uni??19. I wouldnt think 23s 'old' at all. Since leaving school Iv met loads of older people and most of the time i dont realise how old they are until they say, so people like up to 27, 28 seem pretty young.. like i never knew they were over 21. I think once your out of school where everyone is your exact age and work or travel you realise age is just a number (within reason)

17, I applied a year early.
I'm the opposite - I feel I'm going to be surrounded by 20+ year olds who think I'm immature and therefore not worth talking to.
Don't worry about I've found loads of people my age starting at my uni... it's definitley not as rare nowadays for people in their early twenties to start uni 
and I'll be turning 18 just after Freshers
